In this talk, I would present Magnetic force microscopy (MFM) utilized to characterize nanostructured plant leaf-derived graphene quantum dot clusters (GQDCs). Investigation of the MFM signal reveals that the magnetic response of plant leaf-derived GQDCs are dependent on the height and width of GQDCs. However, the smaller width and height of GQDCs have not shown any observable magnetic signals. Importantly, experimental analyses suggest the magnetic signal of GQDCs can effectively be detected in a plane at room temperature. These results could pave a way to be of great advantage for future graphene-based spin manipulation quantum devices.
