Nonlinear dispersion in Nonlinear Schrodinger equation

By introducing the nonlinear dispersion into nonlinear Schrodinger equation, with pseudo-potential method, we reveal the supported soliton solutions on the competition between Kerr-type nonlinearity and nonlinear dispersion. The stabilities of these soliton solutions are also analyzed and confirmed both by Vakhitov-Kolokolov (VK) stability criterion and by the numerical propagations.
