It is well known that the deep inelastic scattering (DIS) and Drell-Yan (DY) processes are the key experimental approaches to reveal the partonic structure of hadrons. The Drell-Yan process is particularly important for understanding the anti-quark content and also the transverse momentum dependent (TMD) parton density functions (PDF) without the ambiguity of fragmentation process. In this talk we will report the recent results of flavour asymmetry of anti-quark ubar/dbar in the proton as well as the partonic structures of pions from two Drell-Yan experiments: E906/SeaQuest experiment at Fermilab and COMPASS experiment at CERN.
