Compact polaritonic gap solitons with spin-orbit coupling

We propose a way to excite compact gap solitons in a flat band of the incoherently pumped exciton-polariton condensate. The combined effects of spin-orbit coupling and periodic potential on the at band structures are investigated. How the compact gap solitons are extended inside a fraction of a single lattice site will be studied.
