Dear Participants of 2021 TPS Annual Meeting:

        We write to inform you that the 2021 Annual Meeting of the Physical Society of Taiwan on Jan 27-29 is canceled. As the number of local COVID-19 cases increases these days, the organization committee of the 2021 TPS Annual Meeting decides to follow the guideline from the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) and cancel the meeting. We are well aware of your high expectation on the Annual Meeting, whereas all participants' health is of our greatest concern. Hope you understand our difficult decision on canceling the meeting.

        We will make every effort to refund the registration fee. A formal announcement about the amount of refund and the refund procedure will be made on the Annual Meeting website. This information will also be sent through emails to all registered participants. We expect a tremendous volume of requests in the coming few weeks, so it might take a while before we can process your request. We appreciate your understanding and patience.

        We hope that the COVID-19 pandemic will end in the near future and hope see you in the 2022 Annual Meeting of the Physical Society of Taiwan at National Taiwan Normal University!

2021台灣物理年會暨科技部成果發表會活動停辦公告

各位與會者大家好:

　　因應嚴重特殊傳染性肺炎(新冠肺炎)疫情日益嚴峻，為避免大型群聚活動造成疫情擴大，考量防疫優先、民眾健康安全首要，決定順應中央流行疫情指揮中心的建議，取消辦理2021台灣物理年會暨科技部成果發表會活動。主辦單位深知與會者的殷殷期待，然而與會者的健康才是主辦單位最重要的考量，希望各位能理解取消年會是不得不為的艱難決定。

　　針對此次疫情取消活動，大會擬將退還部分款項。詳細作業辦法將再透過物理年會網頁公告並以電子郵件通知與會者。因人數眾多，作業時間較長還望請見諒。

　　希望本土疫情能逐漸趨緩，2022物理年會我們國立臺灣師範大學再相會!
